Under the guidelines issued by the Government, car dealerships fall within the description of ‘Shops and Branches’ and therefore from Friday 24th July it is mandatory for customers and visitors to wear a face covering in any Motorline business.The wearing of a face covering for Sales, After sales and Parts customers attending the business is mandatory. Please ensure you have this in place prior to arrival as in the interest of our colleagues and customer safety those customers arriving at the site without a face covering may be turned away.
It is important to note that some of our customers may be exempt from wearing a face covering. The conditions under which this may apply are listed below;
In line with the guidance from the government which states; “Shops and supermarkets will be expected to encourage compliance with the law (as they would do more generally) and can refuse entry. If necessary, the police have the powers to enforce these measures, including through issuing a fine of £100 (halving to £50 if paid within 14 days)”.

Our teams have worked tirelessly to provide facilities for customers and staff to be safe in, following strict COVID-19 guidelines. From PPE (personal protective equipment) provision, intense cleaning schedules, along with informative signage and floor markings for social distancing, we are ready.
Whilst we clearly understood the reasons for the lockdown, we have missed the interaction with our customers, and look forward to a return to doing what we do best and providing a safe, relaxed and positive experience that’s second to none.
Customers who have already visited us for service have commented on their positive experiences and are fully appreciative of the extra measures we’ve taken to in providing a safe and relaxed environment.

Understandably, at this time, you may have reservations about physically visiting our centre, so we’d also like to offer you the option of a virtual appointment at a time and date to suit you. If you have a sales enquiry, our website offers you the option to ‘Reserve any used car for just £99’ along with a ‘Click and Collect’ buying service. We'll be happy to explain both options to you in more detail.
To ensure we have enough vehicles to fulfil demand, we have pre-ordered a number of key models into stock, which we have received on site. These are available now so please get in touch as soon as possible to take advantage of their availability. There will no doubt be some delays with vehicle supply as the manufacturer starts to return its operations to their normal levels.

Over the last 5 weeks, our Children's colouring competition has drawn over 150 entries, helping to raise a smile and to spread our positive 'Thank You' message for our NHS and Key Workers.
Now our competition has ended, we'll be making a donation to the nhscharitiestogether.co.uk to help a really worthwhile cause.
We'd like to say thanks to everyone who has gotten involved and sent in their amazing designs. Receiving these has certainly brightened up the day for the Motorline team, and we are very proud to have created the competition, seen such a great response and raised money for a great cause.

As a family run business, supporting our communities is one of our most important values, and we are proud and thankful to our staff who have helped us achieve this during these unprecedented times.
From supporting Key Workers by freely supplying PPE to Hospital, District and Hospice nurses, and fixing Key Workers vehicles with our ‘Emergency Repair’ facility, we’ve done all we can to help smooth the way during these very challenging times.

We are doing all we can to support the efforts of the NHS and Emergency Services at this crucial time. We have regularly been supplying District and Hospice Nurses, who are out visiting patients, with disposable protective car seat covers to help reduce their exposure to the Coronavirus.
