The new Peugeot 108 is a compact car for the next generation of urban drivers with a sense of fun. Choose between three and five-door hatchback and cabrio versions, with a wealth of customisation options to suit your individual style.
Small dimensions and a cheeky appearance are all part of the Peugeot 108’s enduring appeal. They also reflect its nimble ability to take corners in the city. Its curvaceous body and range of bold colour options will get you noticed, along with 12-inch steel wheels on the entry-level Access. Upgrade to Active to get 15-inch versions. LED daytime running lights are a standard feature in all models, as are stylish, body-coloured bumpers. If you fancy a folding fabric roof (in Black, Grey or Purple Berry), then opt for the cabriolet version – summer cruising has never been so much fun, or so affordable.
With seven personalisation themes available, it’s never been easier to make the Peugeot 108 your own. Options include Barcode, which plays with lines and colours in an ultra-contemporary fashion, while the Sport theme takes cues from the world of motor racing. It’s the one to go for if you’re a fan of checkboard pattern and red edging. Make it as jazzy or subtle as you like, with options including leather trims (as an option on Allure and standard on GT Line), and you can even pick your own carpet mats and dashboard decal. Upgrade from the three to five-door version to gain superior space for up to five passengers in the cabin.
Two petrol engines include a 1.0-litre and a new 1.2-litre version. The larger unit is most suitable for longer journeys, while the smallest engine is a great performer in the city. Both offer low running costs, with returns of up to 68.9mpg and emissions as low as 95g/km. That means they’re road tax-exempt, which reduces costs even further. You can drive around in style while keeping an eye on the environment.
Technology and safety
Six airbags are standard on board – driver and front-passenger side and front, and front and rear curtain ones for the windows. Latest-generation electronic stability programme reduces oversteer and keeps you firmly on course. The 108 five-door comes with a seven-inch colour touchscreen, complete with USB and Bluetooth. It also enables Mirror Screen, which displays your smartphone screen in the car. From Active and above you benefit from manual air conditioning for comfort in all climates. Automatic headlights and wipers are a bonus when conditions change quickly. Allure models and up come with a built-in reversing camera to help navigate tight spaces in town.
