Longer stopping distances, vibration when braking or the brake pedal not responding quickly are all signs that you need to get your vehicle’s brakes checked. It’s recommended that you have them checked every 2 years or every 12,000 miles, a brake fluid change every 4 years / 75,000 miles and your brake pads cleaned every 37,000 miles.

Prices for front brake pads start at £89, with front brake pads and discs from £199^.

To keep your timing belt (the cambelt) and engine running smoothly, it’s recommended that you replace it in line with your mileage and the age of the cambelt. Dacia’s timing package helps you avoid nasty surprises: change your timing belt if your vehicle is more than 5 years old or if it has already done between 60,000 and 160,000 miles. Unlike other car parts, there are no warning signs about wear on your timing belt. To prevent damage that may even lead to engine failure, make sure you stick to the timing belt replacement schedule.

Timing belt + accessories belt from £389^
