Key Objectives

  • To increase revenue and profit in all areas of the Used Car Department in accordance with budgets for the centre
  • Ensure the Used Car Department operates with the required levels of efficiencies and strong management controls
  • Control payments for new and used vehicles in accordance with Motorline policies and procedures.
  • Ensure that the brand and Motorline brand values and standards are maintained at all times.
  • Ensure Used Car Objectives are achieved in accordance with Motorline internal budgets.
  • Ensure that CitNow is utilised for all Used Car enquiries.
  • Ensure that the Motorline Sales Process is adhered to at all times.
  • Ensure the Used Car marketing for the centre is maintained to the highest level.
  • Ensure sales staff achieve and deliver required targets.
  • Ensure that the Used Car display is kept within Motorline and brand standards.
  • Ensure that research is carried out to maintain the competitiveness of the stock within the local market
  • Ensure that the correct profile of used stock is maintained at all times


  • Demonstrable proven successful vehicle sales background, most recently in Used Car Management
  • Main dealer experience an advantage
  • Experienced in understanding and utilising multiple DMS’s and sales lead systems
  • Brand Experience would be desirable
  • Able to coach and motivate a large sales team to achieve sales targets, leading from the front
  • A proven record of high sales achievement, marketing and customer satisfaction
  • Able to set targets for Sales staff, then drive the staff to meet the targets
  • Current manual driving licence with no more than 6 points
  • Ability to continuously improve our customer experience and satisfaction


  • Monday to Saturday 8.30am - 6:00pm (one day off in week)
  • Sunday Rota (with a day off in lieu)
