Key Objectives:

  • To achieve short and long term business objectives
  • To ensure long term profitability and stability of the dealership
  • To monitor and control all overhead expenses of the business
  • To deal with all day-to-day site issues
  • To follow all reporting requirements of Motorline and the manufacturer
  • To develop and maintain relationships with the Franchise
  • To ensure the all staff represent the brand in accordance with manufacturer requirements
  • To ensure that all departments adopt the Motorline culture and follow the practices and procedures of Motorline and the manufacturer
  • To maintain the appropriate staffing levels
  • To provide guidance, training and motivation to all staff
  • To manage performance of staff to achieve key targets (e.g. Sales, Margin, CES)
  • To organise and lead the activities of Sales department to achieve optimum profitability, customer satisfaction and customer retention
  • To ensure the Sales department maximises the profitable sale of finance, insurance, GAP, accessories, extended warranties and other add-ons
  • To hold regular meetings to discuss and implement goals
  • To develop and implement marketing with the Brand Director
  • To monitor all market place activities and adjust plans and objectives accordingly
  • To ensure that customer complaints are dealt with promptly

Applicant’s requirements:

  • Previous experience as a General Manager or Dealer Principal in a franchised Car Dealership.
  • Brand Experience would be desirable
  • Strong leadership and organisational skills
  • A proven record of high sales achievement, marketing and customer satisfaction
  • Able to set targets for Sales staff, then drive the staff to meet the targets
  • Good at man management
  • You must have a full manual driving licence with no more than 6 points
