Key tasks and responsibilities
Achieve sales objectives as agreed with your Manager
Prepare and use a planned sales presentation, to achieve
maximum results from available sales opportunities, including customer greeting,
qualifying, handling objectives, product presentation, demonstrations and
Maintain and Develop the TPS customer database
Create additional sales opportunities for repeat or new
Contribute to the achievement of maximum customer
retention through effective representation.
Develop and submit a weekly and monthly journey plan.
Maintain effective liaison with relevant TPS branch sales
staff and operations manager.
Develop and maintain full knowledge of all products,
prices and key competitors.
Handle dissatisfied customers calmly, resolve complaints
with professionalism and sensitivity, and involve your Manager when necessary
regarding any customers issues.
Produce reports on all business sales activities
including follow-up, prospecting, sales presentations, new clients etc, to
ensure accurate sales forecasts.
Ensure the accurate and timely completion of all reports
Agree business proposals with your Manager and complete
satisfactory negotiations with potential customers to maximise sales.
Assist in the development of strategy to increase
business in accordance with Business/Growth plan.
Meet with existing customers regularly to present new
offers, to secure future business opportunities.
Prospect all potential business users and keep accurate
records for future contact.
Contact prospective customers in a structured
consistently professional manner, ensuring all contact by telephone or
correspondence used adheres to corporate standards.
Ensure compliance with Health and Safety regulations in
accordance with company policy.
Undertake any other tasks and responsibilities within the
TPS business as requested
