Volkswagen Motability

Motability is a registered charity which helps disabled people and their families become mobile with the aid of cars and powered wheelchairs. Set up as a government initiative in 1977, the scheme now has almost 400,000 customers and is the leading car scheme for disabled people. That's why we're delighted to be supporting the National Motability Charity.

Current Motability offers

Volkswagen are now offering the Fox on the Motability Scheme, available on selected models with nil advance payment. What's more the new Eos is now available on the scheme from £4,266.00 initial rental and the new Beetle Cabriolet from £1991.00. We're offering nil advance payment on a large selection of Polo's, including the Polo 1.4 S automatic, and several Golf models.

Eligibility

To be eligible for a car through the Motability scheme, you must be in receipt of the following:

• A Higher Rate Component of the Disability Allowance (DLA)
• A War Pensioners Mobility Supplement (WPMS)
• Either of these allowances can be used towards the cost of a Motability vehicle.

Non-drivers and children, travelling as passengers, are also eligible for a vehicle. They too need to be in receipt of one of the allowances above.

There are two ways in which you can obtain a vehicle on the Motability Scheme; Contact Hire or Hire Purchase.
