Motability at Motorline
Motability is a registered charity which helps disabled people and their families become mobile with the aid of cars and powered wheelchairs. Set up as a government initiative in 1977, the scheme now has almost 400,000 customers and is the leading car scheme for disabled people. That's why we're delighted to be supporting the National Motability Charity.
All Motorline brands support the Motability scheme and have specialist advisors on hand in all our dealerships to give advice and recommendations on the best model for you.
Many of our cars require no advance payment, including the Renault Clio Sport Tourer, the Nissan Note, the Skoda Fabia and the brilliant Volkswagen Fox.
To be eligible for a car through the Motability scheme, you must be in receipt of the following:
- A Higher Rate Component of the Disability Allowance (DLA)
- A War Pensioners Mobility Supplement (WPMS)
- Either of these allowances can be used towards the cost of a Motability vehicle.
Non-drivers and children, travelling as passengers, are also eligible for a vehicle. They too need to be in receipt of one of the allowances above.
