The smallest of Peugeot’s commercial vehicle range, the Bipper delivers a car-like driving experience and comes with a range of fuel-efficient engine options. This compact panel van also offers good cargo capacity and comes in S, SE and Professional trim lines.
The smart-looking Bipper features an expansive windscreen, which, in conjunction with sizeable side windows, provides good visibility for the driver. Providing easy access to the vehicle’s cargo bay are twin rear asymmetric 180o-opening doors. (SE and Professional grades also feature a left-hand sliding side-door.) Exterior lighting includes adjustable headlamps, while SE and Professional grades also feature electrically adjustable and heated door mirrors for greater convenience.
The vehicle comes in a smart Transcodage Grey paint finish as standard while a range of other colours are available as options. These include Speed Red, Clipper Blue, Bianca White and Garbato Silver.
The Bipper offers more driver and passenger space than you might think, particularly when it comes to headroom. Occupants also benefit from rake-and-reach-adjustable seats, each fitted with height-adjustable head restraints. Optional with entry-level S grades is a rake-and-reach-adjustable steering wheel, which comes as standard with SE and Professional trims.
The cab features a durable plastic-covered floor surface, which offers protection against spillages or dropped tools. Directional heating and air recycling is featured as standard, while Professional grades come with air conditioning.
A ladder frame protector stands between the cab and the illuminated load bay. (Professional trims feature a half-height bulkhead, complete with mesh grille). This cargo space offers a 2,500-litre load capacity and a maximum payload of 660kg, and comes with six convenient tie-down hooks to help keep items in place.
The Bipper is fitted with a 1.3-litre diesel engine as standard. Paired with a five-speed manual gearbox, this produces 80bhp and 148Nm of torque, and returns as much as 64.2mpg and CO2 emissions as low as 115g/km.
An All-terrain Vehicle (ATV) engine option is available with S and Professional grades, bringing with it benefits such as raised suspension.
Technology and safety
A four-speaker sound system is included for your listening enjoyment, featuring an AM/FM radio and an MP3-compatible CD player. Professional trims also feature Bluetooth connectivity and TomTom G5 5000 semi-integrated navigation.
A range of driver aids include Electronic Stability Programme, Anti-lock Braking System and power-assisted steering. ATV models also feature Grip Control which optimises the traction of the vehicle’s front wheels – particularly useful on slippery surfaces.
