Skoda Superb

Winner of Top Gear's 2009 Luxury Car of the Year, the Skoda Superb just keeps on raking in the praise.

The Top Gear award panel said: "It’s in the ride, the refinement, the quality of the interior, the understated drama of the exterior – the Superb is all that, and in the estate form it makes even more sense. The Superb won the Caravan Club 2009 Towcar Awards' overall title.  It also won the £20,000 to £25,000 class, beating defending champion, the Ford Mondeo Titanium X 2.5 T Estate.

Autocar magazine praised the Superb's load capacity, saying it was "Potentially a major headache for established load-luggers from Ford, Vauxhall and Volvo.  In terms of interior space it puts some London apartments to shame, let alone its nearest rivals".

Auto Express called it "...a class-leading family estate".
