The benefits of using Winter tyres

Snow, rain and low temperatures compromise the performance of standards tyres.  At temperatures below 7 degrees, summer tyres harden and which compromises their ability to grip on the road surface.

Winter tyres are made from a special compound that stays flexible in cold weather, and helps tyres lock into the peaks and troughs of the road.  Small grooves also help improve the grip, and subsequently improve stopping disstances.
